Facebook for Business

If you are creating a Facebook Page for your organization, this course will guide you through the basics, including the terminology and initial setup.  Discover the business options available on Facebook and the differences among a personal Profile, Facebook Group and an official organization Page.  Learn how to become the Page administrator using a business account or an existing user account (and the difference between those options).  Find out how to add a variety of content to your Page and how to keep in touch with your Fans.

Time Management

Do you ever feel as if you could be more productive if you just had more time?  Maybe all that's needed is the ability to manage your time more effectively -- this course is for you!  As instructor of this course, John Pucciano will offer tips to overcome procrastination and make "to do" lists manageable; you'll receive time-saving techniques and learn to priortize.  Make time work for you!

Online Courses

Garrett College also has hundreds of courses online.  The online courses can be accessed over the Internet at any time of day or night.  You will be able to particpate entirely from the comfort of your own home or office at times that are most convenient to you.

All courses run for six weeks.  Two lessons are released each week for the six-week duration of the course.  You do not have to be present when the lesson is released, but you must complete each lesson within two weeks of its release.

If enrolling in a series of two or more courses, be sure to space the start date for each course at least two months apart.

Interactive quizzes, assignments and instructor-facilitated online discussion areas supplement the lessons -- all provided in each course over the Web.

All courses require Internet access, email and a Netscape or Internet Explorer web browser.
