Under the baton of Music Director Elizabeth Schulze — whom The Washington Post calls “a superb conductor” — the MSO has become a first-class orchestra of exceptional artistic quality.
The MSO romantic summer program will feature works by Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky, with Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition finalist Yulia Gorenman as soloist.

Program Overview: “Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Overture,” Rachmaninoff’s “Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini,” with award-winning pianist Yulia Gorenman, and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4 Op 36. Note that this concert will not include a pre-concert lecture.

This is a family-friendly concert and all students and children are admitted to the concert with an accompanying parent/guardian ticket purchase. This concert is sponsored by FirstEnergy Foundation and Wisp Resort.
