Garrett Lakes Arts Festival Begins 2019 Season on April 27th

This years's Garrett Lakes Arts Festival (GLAF) season will kick off on April 27, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in the Garrett College Auditorium with Walt & Jackie, who will take the audience on a heartfelt journey with their distinctive renditions of some of the most memorable songs of the past 50 years in their newly launched "Legends" tour. Reflecting influences from artists such as Carole King, Neil Diamond, Jim Croce, the Beatles, Elvis Presley, and more, this show is bound to be a memorable experience for you and your family.
 
This year's GLAF line-up includes a Chautauqua - "Then and Now" Festival, which will be held in Mt. Lake Park, Maryland over a three-day period and include full days of activities and special presentations. Evening activities on all three days will conclude with interactive presentations from Maryland Humanities Chautauqua 2019, "Making Waves." Exact times and locations have yet to be determined, but this Chautauqua event will be free and open to the public.
