To address the ongoing workforce challenges for employers, the Garrett County Chamber of Commerce and Garrett County Public Schools have announced the creation of the Work Ethic Diploma program for high school seniors. By meeting established criteria, these students will earn a Work Ethic Diploma upon graduating.

The purpose is to create a pipeline of prospective employees who possess those quality attributes desired by employers. Students learn how having the right work ethic is financially beneficial. The program is launching this spring and we are hosting two informational sessions for all businesses interested in finding quality employees.

If you were unable to attend the information sessions on the newly created Work Ethic Diploma but are interested in becoming a partner or learning more click here or contact Holly Lane at holly@garrettchamber.com.
