SCORE To Host QuickBooks Basics Workshop

 As a startup or small business entrepreneur, ask yourself these important strategic questions:

QuickBooks Basics for Small Business Owners and Start Ups gives you the basics to keep track of your business efficiently from the beginning and maintain your sanity at tax time. You will be able to track your finances – to measure how well you are achieving your business financial goals.
Professional hands-on instructors will demonstrate how to install and utilize QuickBooks effectively. Tips provided will save you from traps of too much information or time wasting false starts. 
--Initial setup choices for your company
--Limiting excesses of QuickBooks default setups
--Creating your vendors and customer records accurately
--Working effectively with you tax preparer so you get an “A” at tax time and reduce your costs
--Saving your data and reporting your results
--Using QuickBooks to measure your success
This active workshop is facilitated by Ted Gregory, a certified Mentor with Frederick SCORE and Principal CPA with LSWG; his training team will include five Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisors from LSWG and Judith Rogers Professional Accounting Services, LLC.
The event will be held on Thursday, November 9th, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.. at 201 Thomas Johnson Drive, Frederick, MD 21702. Cost is $35 per person. Online registration is available.
Because of the interactive nature, and individual support from the instructors, the class size will be limited to 15 participants, so early registration is recommended.
