SBA to Host Face-to-Face With Franchisors

Did you know that 1 out of every 7 franchises is owned by a Veteran? The SBA would like to see that number continue to grow!
In honor of Veterans Day, the SBA will be hosting a Face-to-Face With Franchisors
event which will introduce Veterans to business ownership and the special programs available just to them.
Veterans have learned the skills of self-discipline, leadership and teamwork; they understand standard operating procedures and can follow systems, which makes them outstanding business owners. And, many experienced, talented Veterans are deciding to take more control of their careers, financial objectives, and personal goals by going into business.
Not a Veteran? That's okay, you're invited!
During this event you will:
--Learn the benefits of franchise systems;
--Learn how to find a business that is right for YOU;
--Learn how to finance YOUR business;
--Have one-on-one time with top national franchise executives;
--Learn about resources and support available from SBDC/SCORE, SBA, and others; and,
--Meet Franchisors with special offers for Veterans!
Veterans attending the events will also have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with top national franchise executives. The franchises participating in this event have special programs for our Veterans and are looking to expand in the Maryland/DC area.
