Precision Dairy Technology Program to be Held at CTTC

The University of Maryland Extension will host "Precision Technology Use in Dairy Farming" on December 14th, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Garrett College’s CTTC building located at 116 Industrial Drive, Accident, Maryland.
 
Invited speakers include Matthew Morris, University of Maryland Extension; Ken Sechler Sr., Southern States Cooperative, Inc.; Dr. Bob Peters, University of Maryland, Casselman Veterinary Service; and Mathew Haan, Penn State Extension.
 
Topics covered will include:
 
--Weed control in forages
--Precision technology for forages
--Experience with activity and rumination monitoring
--Precision feeding
--Guiding producers through the decision making process for technology investments
 
There is no cost to attend the program, and lunch will be provided.
