Mt. Top Fruit and Vegetable Meeting Set for December 15th

The University of Maryland Extension will host the Mt. Top Fruit and Vegetable Meeting on December 15th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m at Garrett College’s CTTC facility in Accident, Maryland.
The program will feature eleven presentations from regional Extension specialists and industry experts. Nicole Cook  of the University of Maryland Agriculture Law Education Initiative, will provide a keynote lunch presentation entitled, “Legal Considerations for Farm Marketing.”
Other topics throughout the day include:
--Vegetable Disease
--CSA Member Agreements
--Winter Storage Crops
--Lettuce Production
--Grafted Tomatoe
--Maximizing Sales at Farmers Markets
Vegetable supply vendors will be on hand to share the latest technologies, supplies, fertilizers, and chemicals.
The cost of the meeting will be $15 for pre-registered participants and $20 the day of the meeting. The fee includes lunch.
