"Amp Up Your Small Business" is an interactive class to help small businesses gain a greater insight into the various aspects of doing business with the state of Maryland. Attendees will start with the most basic steps then advance into more topics, such as how to identify which agencies are buying what you sell and how to search for targeted procurement opportunities.
The state's small, minority, and veteran-owned business programs will also be covered.
The class will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 100 Community Place, First Floor Conference Room B, Crownsville, Maryland 21032.
Attendees are asked to bring pen and paper to take notes. Guest WiFi is available.
Who should attend? Small business start-ups and any small business interested in exploring the state contracting arena.
This technical training class is offered by the Governor's Office of Small, Minority & Women Business Affairs for small businesses that want to learn to do business with the state of Maryland.
Seating is limited and advance registration is required. There is no cost to attend. Ample free parking is available on-site.
