Online Sales & Telework Assistance COVID-19 Relief Grant Program:

 
Garrett County Government has secured grant funds from the Maryland Economic Development Assistance Authority and Fund (MEDAAF) to be used to provide grants to businesses that have incurred expenses to establish or expand online sales and/or telework assistance during COVID (after March 1, 2020).  Garrett County businesses have been earmarked to receive approximately $2,300 of these funds.
 
Grant applications will be prioritized to businesses that have not already received funding through the Maryland Department of Commerce Small Business COVID-19 Emergency Relief Grant or Loan Funds, the Maryland Economic Development Assistance Authority and Fund (MEDAAF), Garrett County's Hotel Relief Grant, and/or Garrett County’s Restaurant Relief Grant.
 
The application will be available online here beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 19, 2021. Application deadline is 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021.  NO grant applications will be accepted after that date.
 

Restaurant and Caterers COVID-19 Relief Grant Program:
 

Garrett County Government has secured grant funds from the Maryland Department of Commerce to be used to provide grants to certain food and beverage providers.  Garrett County businesses have been earmarked to receive approximately $104,000 of these funds.
 
Grant applications will be prioritized to businesses that have not already received funding through the Maryland Department of Commerce Small Business COVID-19 Emergency Relief Grant or Loan Funds, the Maryland Economic Development Assistance Authority and Fund (MEDAAF), and/or Garrett County’s Restaurant Relief Grant.
 
The application will be available online here beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 19, 2021. Application deadline is 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021.  NO grant applications will be accepted after that date.

Lodging and Accommodations COVID-19 Relief Grant Program:

 
Garrett County Government has secured grant funds from the Maryland Department of Commerce to be used to provide grants to certain accommodations providers to promote and encourage stabilization within the hospitality industry in the State.  Garrett County businesses have been earmarked to receive approximately $47,000 of these funds.
 
Grant applications will be prioritized to businesses that have not already received funding through the Maryland Department of Commerce Small Business COVID-19 Emergency Relief Grant or Loan Funds, the Maryland Economic Development Assistance Authority and Fund (MEDAAF), and/or Garrett County’s Hotel Relief Grant.

Nonprofit Recovery Grant:

 
This grant funding will support Garrett County nonprofit organizations facing continued financial impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Garrett County will receive $95,983 for this grant fund. This grant funding is not yet available.
